Christmas Lights Synchronized to Music
2006 was our first year to have a computerized Christmas Display. We started the project in July 2006 with the help of the Hargis and Horner Family. Opening day was the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. It was a lot of work as we made the little Christmas trees as well as the 12' tree with 6,400 lights. The work was worth it since we tried to have the attitude of celebrating the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. The whole display was about thirty thousand lights. We had a great time doing it, so we did it again in every year since. We added more lights and features. It's June and we are already have some new things moving for Christmas 2011. Please login, registration is easy and quick, and take a look at the videos and photos.
Our schedule for setup goes something like this. Nov 13th weekend start setting up the 13' tree. During the week and weekends start wrapping trees. Starting Sunday Nov after Thanksgiving weekend afternoon and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings we'll setup everything. We shoot for that Wednesday to be up and running with some small issues. Friday December 7th will be the 2012 Grand Opening. We had to cancel last weekend's Grand Opening because of rain.
We have a new feature this year. A 17 foot Christmas tree with 900 individually controlled multicolored LED lights. We also added a song just for the tree. If you've been here in the past you'll want to come back and take a look.
Come by on Friday December 21st, 2012 after 6:30 pm and we'll have some Free Hot Chocolate and Apple Cider for you and your family. Walk around the display, get a little snow on you and Listen to the Lights!
Thanks !
